WHO WE ARE
INTERMEDIA, LLC
At a time when Africa is either often under-reported, ignored or worse still, misrepresented,
something simply has to give. Intermedia, LLC was born out of the need to fill this void, hence
africamessage.com. Most Africans agree that there is no better way to achieve success as a
people if we are not involved in telling our own story and writing our own history. By publishing
africamessage.com, we at Intermedia, LLC wish to take our place in the shaping of black and
African thought, culture and development. We do this by publishing news, analyses and
perspectives with the long-run aim of projecting our continent and our people in the most
positive way possible. Some stories would be unsavory, but we cannot clean up our act if we
don’t accept that we have dirty laundry. Behind this project are two dedicated and accomplished
professionals who have garnered experience in the media and related fields.
CHRIS ONUORAH, the Editor-in-Chief and Chief Executive Officer, has, in his fifteen years as a
journalist, risen from newspaper field reporting to editorial level at the defunct Post Express,
Nigeria’s first newspaper on the internet. He covered many important events around Africa,
Europe and the United States. He is an alumnus of the prestigious U.S. International Visitor
Program where he shared the roster with many famous heads of government, activists and
academic types.
Onuorah has a Bachelor’s in Journalism and a Master’s in International Relations. He has also
been active in union activities, the promotion of African culture and worked closely with non-
profits working to improve women empowerment where he served as a Public Relations Adviser.
SAMUEL BINDA, the Managing Director is a Bachelor’s degree holder in Computing Technology.
He is the technical mind that drives africamessage.com. His technical expertise is spiced with
years of field activities in finding and re-uniting Liberian children dispersed by years of civil
conflict with their families. He describes his time in Ivory Coast with Save the Children Fund
(SCF) and the German non-profit GTZ, as one of the most fulfilling times of his career. Through
his contributions, thousands of yesterday’s refugees are today living normal lives.
Binda exudes a great passion to up-lift the African image and spirit and is determined to achieve
this by informing, educating and entertaining the African and Black people. Thanks to the
worldwide web, his passion has assumed a life of it’s own at africamessage.com.
